Scenic NWSO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that mobilizes volunteer teams to serve in beautiful, sometimes remote destinations. We provide free medical care to underserved communities and support meaningful community development initiatives, combining humanitarian service with the enriching experience of volunteer tourism.
Every team will be led by an experienced team leader.

Ways to Help
Donate to the Cause
There are many ways to make a difference and support our mission! We welcome donations of medical supplies, including sutures and gloves, donated medical equipment, and financial contributions to help purchase essential supplies. If you have medical supplies or equipment to donate, we would love to hear from you.
Every dollar makes a difference. Your generosity directly supports surgical teams traveling to remote and underserved communities to provide essential, life-changing surgeries. We also partner with and support local nonprofit organizations in the regions we serve, helping strengthen communities and expand access to care.
Scenic NWSO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and eligible donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Thank you for helping us bring compassionate surgical care to those who need it most!
Join a Trip
If you are interested in an upcoming surgery trip, let us know and join our surgery teams! Scenic Northwest Surgical Outreach will be returning to Guatemala, Kenya and Peru every year. We are looking for Doctors, CRNAs, PAs, nurses and techs.
Our community development team is comprised of people of all ages and skill levels. Projects may include painting, landscaping, construction or building during our trips. If you are interested in a trip, check out the "upcoming trip page "and fill out an application today!
Support a fundraiser
This year we hosted a Casino night fundraiser to purchase surgical and anesthesia supplies for our Kenya trip. We had a huge success! Thank you to all of our sponsors for the evening and for everyone who came out.
